'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ismail Loan Extended

Zeli Ismail's loan with Burton has been, as had been expected and as had also been hoped, until the end of the season.

The weekend win over Morecambe was technically the final game of the on loan mans spell from Wolverhampton Wanderers but talks between the two sides resulted in an agreement that will see him stay at the Pirelli Stadium until the end of the season.

Having scored his first goal for the Brewers in that win Ismail is now looking to make the most of the remainder of his loan and help Burton finish as high as possible in the league and help secured league two promotion.

The winger told the Derby Telegraph: 'It's great to be able to extend my loan spell until the end of the season.

'I've really enjoyed my football since I've been here and all the lads and staff have made me feel really welcome.

'To get the winner on Saturday was brilliant and the fans have given me a lot of confidence.

'We`ve now got to concentrate on the final third of the season, win as many games as possible and finish as high as we can.'

Gary Rowett went on to show his delight as the 20-year-olds loan extension and praised the 'huge effect' he's had on the club since his arrival.
