Kee Departure Confirmed

Kee Departure Confirmed

Billy Kee's Burton exit was confirmed at lunchtime on today.

Not the greatest of ways to get the week underway is it, although the striker's departure for Scunthorpe United must have been in the best interests of the club and probably something that Kee wanted, or he wouldn't have been sold would he!

A three-year deal has been signed with the league 1 club with us actually revealing that a fee was agreed with Scunthorpe last week, so he signed off in style with his brace to help us beat Dagenham & Redbridge two-one.

We'll undoubtedly miss the striker, you don't score 42-goals in 117-appearances and not be missed, but players come and go but he'll definitely be wished well.

I can't help but think that Kee might have ended up at that level with us had he waited one more season and he might end up back at this level?
