An injury time goal secures a sensational first away win for the Brewers as Russell Penn sealed the three points.

The Brewers, who took the lead after 23 minutes from an unmarked Ryan Austin header looked the better of the two sides.

Burton manager, Paul Peschisolido had recently called for the team to be 'harder to beat` and they responded by keeping a clean sheet away from home. Peschisolido said, "That`s what we stressed all week in training, that we wanted to be resilient, and that`s what we got today."

Peschisolido made a couple changes to the starting 11, by bringing in Tony James to line up with Guy Branston. That moved Ryan Austin to right-back and Andy Corbett replaced Penn in the midfield.

Having conceded 12 goals in their first four games, a change was needed. They needed to fine the right combination to work together.

The Brewers were not just resilient at the back, they were also resilient going forward. Greg Pearson again made his presence known and shortly after Austin scored, Pearson nearly added a second goal for the Brewers when a defensive error let the Burton striker in but the shot was saved by Lincoln keeper Rob Burch.

If not for Burch, the score-line could have been worse as the Brewers continued to add pressure and dominate the game after the break. Jimmy Phillips and Pearson again both had chances, but failed to capitalise.

It was the Russell Penn lob at the end of the game that finally secured the three points for the visitors.
