Burton 2 - Rotherham 0

Saturday 9th February 2013 3pm

Attendance: 3,967

Burton Albion v Rotherham United

Two goals from the legend that is Billy Kee were enough to see off a Rotherham side that finished the game with nine men.

Kee netted on 36 and 55 minutes to give the Brewers a 2 - 0 victory that moves them in to the automatic promotion spots in League two.

The scenes from the Rotherham fans weren`t great as fans had to be led away by police after throwing bottles in the direction of referee Eddie Ilderton.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans certainly had a case of sour grapes at the end of the game by saying 'If the benchmark is Burton, over the next 18 games I`m sure we`ll be there.`

Well Mr Evans it is us that sit in third while your team aren`t even in the play-off spots despite your huge investment in the squad. That is all I will say on the matter and we will let the football do the talking.
