As speculation continued about manager Nigel Clough, the Brewers visited QPR. Luke Murphy provided the visitors an early lead with a stunning goal from 30 yards out. Lloyd Dyer made it 2-0 with a breakaway effort early in the second half. Conor Washington scored 10 minutes later to bring the home side within one, but the Brewers held firm to take the 3 points. The win took Burton out of the relegation zone up to 20th place with 28 points. The Brewers host Fulham on Wednesday February 1, 2017
