The Brewers earned a valuable 3 points in crucial away win at Birmingham City in a battle to stay in the Championship. Burton moved above Birmingham by 1 point into 19th place and 4 points clear of the drop. Lloyd Dyer put the visitors in front when Blues keeper Tomasz Kuszczak could not hold onto the ball after a Lucas Akins shot. Dyer was there to poke the ball in from six yards out. Akins continued his man of the match performance in the second half scoring in the 52 minute, his fifth of the season and his second in two games. The Brewers will host Leeds United on Saturday the 22nd of April at the Pirelli Stadium with a 3pm kick-off.
